Packing Presents Like The Pros

Packing supplies are just one more thing to add to your shopping list this Holliday season. Pak Mail is happy to pack any breakable or valuable items you have to ship. If you prefer to pack your presents yourself here’s a few tips from the pros!

  1. Highly fragile items such as ceramics and glass ornaments should be double boxed. Give any fragile items at least two inches of packing material on each side.
  2. Use a strong box and make sure it’s filled up. You don’t want the box too big or too small for what you’re packing but never leave empty space in a box. This can cause the tape to come undone and the box to be crushed inwards.
  3. Private carriers like FedEx or UPS can have faster transit times and that means less handling.
  4. Good packing is always better than a fragile sticker!
